Turkey Day!!

Luckily there were 3 or 4 kittens that were hanging around the hotel's playground area. Charlotte and the rest of the cousins adopted them as weekend pets.

There was never any lack of good scenery

We managed to get a couple of pretty decent family pictures this is one of them. Hopefully I will put some more up later.

Getting older

Yesterday was Jared's Birthday. He didn't want to do anything to celebrate "getting older." He also had to work all weekend. So on Thursday night his parents came out and we had a nice visit and I made Jared an ice cream cake. We watched football all day Saturday because that's all he wanted to do.
I love Jared so much and am so grateful to have him as my husband and "baby daddy." Hehehe!

Disneyland Marathon Weekend!

Crossing the finish line!
My family...my biggest fans!

It was really cool to have my parents there to support me...Love you guys!

Of course, Everyone got this huge gold meddle for finishing the race. Charlotte felt like she was the winner....Athlete in training.

This weekend Disneyland put on several different races, one in which I participated in was the half marathon ( 13.1 miles). It was such an awesome experience! Over 13,000 participants just in the half marathon alone. From the starting line, it was an automatic adrenaline rush, trying to keep a good pace while dodging and passing and being past. We ran through Disneyland, California Adventure, The Civic Center, The Angels Stadium, as well as the streets of Anaheim. As we came close to each mile marker there was a variety of people holding up signs, giving cheers, bands playing (high schools, Mexican, Bongos, etc.), high school cheerleaders, little kid cheerleaders, flag dancers...you get the idea. It was insane!!! Anyone and everyone yelling and encouraging all us runners, getting us that much more pumped up to push forward. I literally felt my veins flood with adrenaline at various times of the race.
My Favorite part of the race, besides the finish, was running through the Angels Stadium. We ran in and down around the baseball field, while the whole bottom "fan section" was filled of people cheering. As we ran we gave people high fives, and watched as our faces showed up on the big screen. It was such an experience!

Busy Body

This is our little busy body. She though she needed to completely empty all of her toys and then put them back in again. This is about a minute clip of about 30 mins of her playing and keeping busy. Crazy girl

We just went for Charlotte's one year doctors visit. It was pretty sad because she got like 5 shots and was not happy about that. She is a growing girl though. She is 31" tall and weighs 24lbs!! I can't believe she is already a year old!!!

Charlotte's first Birthday!!!

Charlotte showing everyone how old she is.
She ate her whole cupcake!

Charlotte is fearless especially in the pool. check out the video and you will know what I mean.

We had a BBQ and swim party for Charlotte's first Birthday on Saturday. I cannot believe it has been one whole year already! She has developed such a fun personality and we love her sooo much. A few tricks that Charlotte can do now that she is one... She pulls herself up on just about everything, walks along side furniture, and I would like to say she crawls but its more of a side winder scoot ( you'd have to see it),she is very good with her hands( pointing at things and into fine details), and she has a good vocabulary. She says- Mama, dada, puppy, hi, ball, bird, baby, night-night, bye-bye, and a few other words she has said but not repeated like she has with these words. We are so blessed to have Charlotte in our lives.

Happy Fathers Day!

Jared has been such an amazing Dad to Charlotte. I love watching them interact. He loves her so much and it shows. Before we had Charlotte he was so nervous to become a father, as most men are, but he is such a pro! I am so blessed to have Jared as my husband and the father of my child.

11months and Finally...

Charlotte has been teething since she was 4 months and now she cut two teeth in one week! First came her bottom right following the bottom left, a few days later. What a trooper! Along with popin teeth, Charlotte has been getting around using the army crawl. But her favorite method of transport is scootin on her butt. The past few days she has really enjoyed playing ball. We pass the ball back and forth. It's really cute to see her try and throw. The ball flys all over. If I may add, she does have a great arm!

Even though we got rained on, we had fun. We froze, we played games, enjoyed the outdoors and campfires , even hiked in the rain. The sun came out on our last day and we got in a good dry hike, with the exception of mist from the waterfalls. It was a blast!
