Eventful Halloween!!!

We started our Halloween at The Pumpkin Festival at the High School. They had a fun jumper and animals to pet.

We painted pumpkins one day...

Went to Oak glen with my parents and my brothers fam...petting zoo and ate candy apples!

Of course we carved pumpkins another day...

Charlotte did not want to touch the pumpkin guts...too slimy. She did love to scoop it out with a spoon though.

We went to 4 Halloween parties! Charlotte is going to think Halloween is a week long event. This one is with Cousin Kate and Grandma Lori...

We went to cousin Kate's Grandma's...eating gummy worms off strings. Kind of cheating...

...Bobbing for apples. I was really impressed that all the kids were able to do this. They bit the stem, but still...

We ended the night of Halloween frosting and decorating cupcakes. I thought it was one of the best Halloweens ever! So many party's. It was so fun to watch Charlotte understand and enjoy all the festivities!

We cannot believe she is 2! We love her so much and couldn't ask for a sweeter little girl. Happy Birthday to Charlotte!

Charlotte's First Surf Lesson!!!

The water was perfect temp, the tide was low, the waves were small, the sun was shinning...a beautiful day for our little girl to learn how to ride the waves. She wanted to keep going but she started shivering and our first session had to end...Check out the video below...Mommy and me style!

Kayaking/Beach Day!

Charlotte loves the beach! We took her out on the Kayak for the first time yesterday and she did not want to get off the boat. We just paddled around Oceanside harbor to give her a little taste of some adventures to come. We saw some seals right up close, in petting distance and a lot of big boats. Then we went and played in the sand. So Fun!!!

Turkey Day!!

Luckily there were 3 or 4 kittens that were hanging around the hotel's playground area. Charlotte and the rest of the cousins adopted them as weekend pets.
