Thanksgiving with The Stephens

Mom and Dad cutting the turkey.
Uncle Cocoa hanging with Crazy hair, Charlotte.

All the Grandchildren with the Grandparents

Our little family.

We all went up to Simpson Park, in Hemet, to take family pictures. We took one of everyone, but we haven't received a copy yet. Stand by for the Complete Stephens Family picture. The best part of this weekend was my sister and her family moved to California from Utah. We are so excited they are here to stay!
Thanksgiving was a good time. We just prepared food all day and ate like bears. After we ate at my parents we went to Jared's parents for dessert. His brother actually had to work so we brought dessert to him. It was fun to see everyone. We hope everyone had lots to eat!

Big girl

Charlotte has very good eye hand coordination

She loves hanging out with her Dad.

Modeling her bath robe
And this is the newest adventure of all...trying to eat big girl food. I know it has only been two days of trying to feed her rice cereal, but it's harder then it seems. She doesn't really get the concept of a spoon with food on it. Apparently she rather laugh at me for this silly idea and wear the food.
She is just getting bigger and bigger each week. It's unreal! I try and take as many pictures as I can. So, these are for ALL her Grandparents. Enjoy!

3 Day Birthday!

This week was my birthday, literally. Jared had to work on the actual day but he managed to make me dinner and cupcakes. What a sweet guy, I know. The following day we met my parents for dinner and they took Charlotte for the night. The next morning we got to sleep in and go to the beach. We went skateboarding around the harbor and then I went surfing while Jared took pictures.
Thats right I might have just had a baby and turned 25 years old, but there's no age limit on having fun! Me skating, and the one above is me catching some hot air doing an alli. I still got it.
Down below, is a picture of a bunch of seals with there flippers in the air...I don't know.

The surf was way small, the water wasn't too cold and the day was gorgeous.
I caught a few fun little rides and made the best of it. Yes, I was the only one out(normaly I wouldn't go out if it was that small but I hadn't been out in awhile) and the water was crystal clear. I started to freak myself out, so I wasn't out too long. Besides, we kind of missed Charlotte. I love birthday weeks!

4 months old today!

Today Charlotte is 4 months old and growing. I just wanted to share a few pictures from last week and tell about our weekend.
The weekend first started out with Jared going to a funeral for a police officer. He died unexpectedly in his sleep. If you notice in one of the pictures above Charlotte is possing with Jared in his uniform. She is also wearing a police outfit to remember the officer that died that day.
Jared worked for the weekend, me and Charlotte went to Hemet and stayed the night. I went to my friend Katrina's to party and do some fun crafts, while Grandma Julie babysat Charlotte.
On Sunday, my Parents, Ryan, Laura, Kate, Chalotte and I went to Upland to visit some good family friends and say farewell to one especially, before she left on a mission. Good luck Camille!

We got a new dog!

Everyday Charlotte, Puppy Girlfriend, and I go walking and yesterday we say this stray dog. Today he followed us back home but he wouldn't let me get close enough to pet him. So I put some food out for him and captured him in our back yard. Jared was at work and I knew he wouldn't believe me so I had to take some pictures. As I'm waiting for Jared to get home, the dog jumped our fence into the neighbors backyard. Jared finally gets home in time to see the dog jump out of our neighbors yard into another yard. Luckily I took some pictures. So much for our new dog.

We are planning on going on a big hiking trip so we decided to start taking little hikes every Friday to get ready. This one is up at lake Dixon close to our house.

Halloween Weekend!

Charlotte was Pebbles Flintstone for Halloween. She had so much fun trick-or-treating with her cousins in Hemet.
